Heather Hilley is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. There she attended and graduated from Georgia State University with a B.F.A. Fine Arts in Art Education. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Education in Instruction and Curriculum. Mrs. Hilley moved to Nashville in 2006.

Mrs. Hilley has spent the last year teaching Art at Gower Elementary School in Nashville. Mrs. Hilley is a freelance photographer in her spare time photographing both musicians and weddings.

Mrs. Hilley believes that Art should encompass the masses, not just those who will go on to be career artists. She hopes that through her classroom, students will gain both technical ability and an appreciation for visual arts. She is looking forward to a rewarding experience at Cane Ridge!
