Department Jennifer Hale is a Nashville native, and has resided in and around Nashville her entire life. She graduated from Brentwood High School with Honors in 1998. She then began her college career at Austin Peay State University, where she represented the University as a cheerleader and a member of Chi Omega. From there she transferred to Middle Tennessee State University, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration, with minors in Psychology and Sociology. At MTSU, Mrs. Hale was a Vice President of Tau Omicron Honor Society for Women, of which she is a Lifetime Member. Mrs. Hale is also a Lifetime Member of Alpha Phi Sigma, National Criminal Justice Honor Society and Golden Key International Honour Society. Currently, Mrs. Hale is working on her MAE (Master of Arts in Education) at Cumberland University. After college, Mrs. Hale earned a paralegal certification and worked in downtown Nashville as a paralegal for five years, primarily in defense litigation. She also obtained a degree from Animal Behavior College as a Certified Dog Trainer, and she enjoys working with canines in her spare time. After substitute teaching for MNPS last year, Mrs. Hale fell in love with the classroom. She decided on a career makeover with the support and encouragement of her father, Dr. Paul Doyle, who is a thirty-year veteran of MNPS and a former Director of Schools in Paris, Tennessee (he is now supposedly retired…). Mrs. Hale currently resides with her husband, Jerry, in La Vergne, Tennessee. They share their home with five dogs, including a rescued Doberman Pinscher and a rescued American Pit Bull Terrier, Mrs. Hale’s two fish Zorro and Winter Noel, and Jerry’s corn snake, Rocketman.
