Natasha Clifton was born and raised in the south side of Chicago, Illinois. She graduated with honors from Percy L. Julian High school where she was the captain of the volleyball and basketball team. In 1992, she received a Bachelor???s of Science Degree in Accounting from Florida A&M University. She then went on to work in the banking industry for five years.

Inspired by her parents who were both math teachers, Mrs. Clifton changed careers and earned her Masters??? Degree in Education at St. Xavier University (2000). She then spent eight years at Crane Tech Prep Common School teaching math and serving as the senior class advisor, coordinating prom, graduation, and special events.

Mrs. Clifton relocated to Nashville in the summer of 2006 joining Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools at Antioch High School. She served as a member of the AVID site team and pep club sponsor.

Mrs. Clifton enjoys reading, taking pictures, singing praises to God, and spending time with her family. She and her husband are the proud parents of three children, Curtis, 13, Nathan, 6, and Nehemiah, 1.

Mrs. Clifton is extremely excited about working with the Cane Ridge staff, student body and community in reaching for excellence.
